The second batch of evacuated Nigerians from Sudan have arrived in Abuja today.
The 130 evacuees arrived at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport around 3:10pm.
The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), on Thursday, tweeted about their arrival.
It was said that the flight “left Port Sudan International Airport today, 5th May 2023, at 8:00 am local time, with 130 Nigerians
“Estimated time of arrival Port Sudan (PZU) to Juba (JUB)= 2hrs 50 min. Stopover: 1 hrs in Juba JUB to ABV = 03:30 min. Total = 7hrs 30min.
The evacuees were welcomed by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Dr. Nasir Sani-Gwarzo and the Director General of National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Mustapha Ahmed.
