Super Falcons players – Asisat Oshoala and Chiamaka Nnadozie have been listed among the final ten nominees for the CAF women’s Player of the Year award. The CAF awards is scheduled to be held in Marrakech, Morocco, on December 11.
The apex football body in Africa made this known on Monday via its X (Twitter) account.
Earlier, CAF announced the full list of nominees for the award comprising Nnadozie, Oshoala, Rasheedat Ajibade, Osinachi Ohale, Toni Payne and Christy Ucheibe.
Oshoala in 2022 beat Zambia’s Grace Chanda and Ajara Nchout Njoya of Cameroon to claim the CAF Women’s Player of the Year award for the fifth time.
Meanwhile, Super Falcons head coach, Randy Waldrum, made it as the coach of the year while Deborah Abiodun and Esther Ajakaye made it as finalists for the Best Young Player of the Year.
The Super Falcons team also made it as finalist for the women’s national team of the year.
