Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife, and his fourth wife, Olori Folashade welcomed their first child, a boy.
The Ooni shared a picture of the new mother on social media, writing, “To God be the glory, great things he has done.”
“Hearty congratulations to the entire House of Oduduwa and Olori Folashade, who today birthed a Prince from the mother side of Ooni Adagba Royal Compound of Lafogido Ruling House and father side of Ooni Agbedegbede Royal Compound of Giesi Ruling house combined to the Royal throne of Oduduwa.
“Mother and child are doing well to the glory of God Almighty and in line with the spirits of our ancestors. #Otisese.”
Five months had passed after the royal family welcomed a set of twins, born in March to one of his wives, Olori Tobiloba.
The Ooni received the twins in August in his place in ile-ife, five months and two days after he had announced their birth.
