Nollywood actress Tayo Sobola, popularly known as Sotayo Gaga, has welcomed her first child.
The news of her childbirth was announced by her colleague, Joke Jigan, on Instagram on Tuesday.
Jigan praised God for the baby’s safe delivery and uploaded a picture of the well-known Yoruba actress with her child.
“The news I have been patiently waiting for. This one sweetens me to my core. Sotayo Gaga, well done, love, and congratulations to you,” Jigan wrote.
Ronke Odusanya, a different colleague, also offered her congratulations on the birth of her child.
“This news fills my heart with joy! The God that never fails, Alaanu Oloore, we bless thee; you are worthy of our praise,” she wrote on Instagram.
“You are worthy of our praise. Thank you, Lord, for this great gift; we appreciate you, Lord. We trusted in you, and you did it. Congratulations, sweetheart Sotayo Gaga.”
In another video that Sobola posted on her Instagram profile, she can be seen showing off her baby bump while a praise hymn plays in the background.
The 38-year-old actress, who hails from Ogun State, is married to Kayode Peters. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Lagos.
