The Lagos State University launched a cutting-edge program, “LASU Talkspace,” designed to support e-conferences, e-meetings, and e-seminars.
The innovative platform, developed by the university’s Directorate of Information and Communication Technology, headed by Prof. Toyin Enikuomehin, aims to provide a reliable and secure alternative to popular virtual meeting tools like Zoom, Teams, and Google Meet.
A statement by DICT said, “Approved by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, the LASU Talkspace App is now available for use by the university community and the general public.
“Members of staff can access the platform free of charge, using their official LASU staff email address.
The LASU Talkspace App is also available to the general public by subscribing to the service and paying the requisite cost, which varies according to the category of services needed.
The launch of LASU Talkspace, it said, demonstrated the university’s dedication to embracing technology and creating a more cohesive and cooperative community.
