Kogi PDP rejects governorship poll results

Kogi State Peoples Democratic Party on Sunday called for the total cancellation of results of the November 16 governorship election in the state.

The PDP in a statement signed by Bode Ogunmola rejected the results the election and described the election as another world war.

According to him, the result of the election did not reflect the good wishes of the Kogi State electorate.

He said thee results were written allegedly by the state government for the Independent National Electoral Commission officials to present and read.

According to him, the election was full with violence, killing and ballot snatching, adding that the results from Okene, Adavi and Okehi were written without any conduct of election.

He said, “The Kogi State PDP therefore reject the results in totality and called for cancellations of the entire election.”
