The trial of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, has been indefinitely adjourned by Judge Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court in Abuja.
Following Kanu’s contention that Nyako cannot preside over his case due to her prior recusal, the ruling was made on Monday.
According to earlier report, Kanu was ordered to appear before Federal High Court, Abuja, Judge Binta Nyako on Monday, February 10, 2025.
Kanu accused Justice Nyako of judicial misconduct in the way she handled his trial in a petition before the National Judicial Council earlier in January.
Days later, if no judge other than Justice Binta Nyako is prepared to preside over his case in the Federal High Court in Abuja, the IPOB leader demanded that it be moved to the South-East.
Details later.
