A section of the Supreme Court has been reported to be caught on fire Today, Monday morning, though no casualty was recorded by the court.
However, the Public Relations Officer for the Court, Mr. Festus Akande, spoke to Channels Television via Telephone says the cause of the fire was electrical from one of the Chambers of the Justices and was put out with the use of fire extinguishers.
Akande, further confirmed there was no casualties.
According to the information, the fire started around 6am and cleaners on duty and some workers who resumed early for work detected the fire and raised the alarm.
The workers were said to have used the fire extinguishers to combat the fire in the building.
