Federal Government has announced their involvement in partnership with Nigerian Economic Summit Group to enable the creation of opportunities for all private sector to improve water resources and sanitation sector.
The Minister for Water Resources and Sanitation, Prof. Joseph Utsev signed this statement on Thursday after having a meeting with NESG members in Abuja.
However, The Chief executive officer of NSEG, Dr. Tayo Aduloju, stated that the inception of this meeting is because Government and private sector had jointly established six fundamental principles in improving modern economy.
The principles are listed as, democracy, National Interest Governance, the rule of law, enabling business environment, private sector commitment and free enterprise.
Jospeh further listed another important role of the principles as Global System for Mobile, Pension reform, liberalization of the maritime sector with other development plans.
Furthermore, Prof, Joseph Utsev has promise to collaborate with all group members of the NESG for the progress of Nigeria and to take Nigeria to the next level as the government part of the “Renewed Hope Agenda.
