Telecommunications companies have been required by the Nigerian Communications Commission to promptly restore all phone lines that were disabled because their SIM cards were not linked to their national identification numbers.
On Monday, Reuben Muoka, the Director of Media and Public Affairs, disclosed this information in a statement.
