Maiduguri — Three Boko Haram terrorists were neutralized by troops of the 21 Armored Brigade, “Operation HADIN KAI,” North East Theatre, while on fighting patrol in Bama Local Government Area of Borno State.
According to sources, 202 Battalion soldiers fighting alongside hybrid forces naturalized the terrorists in Churchur village.
Two Dane guns were also retrieved by the troops.
The military conducted clearance at Angwan Jingina and Bula Marwa on march 30, 2024 in a separate operation in cooperation with the Civilian Joint Task Force and HYBRID Forces, according to intelligence sources that also verified this information to Zagazola Makama, an expert on counterterrorism.
Nine people, including six children and three adult ladies, were safely rescued by the military. The military also demolished the hamlets inside the Boko Haram camps while the terrorists fled, the insider continued.
