Colleagues of Nollywood actress, Kemi Afolabi, have turned to the public to solicit financial support to treat her illness.
Actresses Toyin Abraham and Mercy Aigbe took to Instagram to solicit support for Afolabi, announcing that a Gofundme account had been opened to support her treatment.
Posting a video of the interview, Abraham called on her fans to support Afolabi with their donations.

Kemi Afolabi had revealed in an interview with Chude Jideonwo that she had been diagnosed with the autoimmune disease called lupus and had only five years to live.
Kemi said she spends N1.2 million on medications weekly to manage the illness, adding that she had sold her cars, property, and business to afford the treatment.
She added that she had received support from colleagues including Funke Akindele, Toyin Abraham and Mercy Aigbe.
