Senator Ademola Jackson Adeleke has emerged the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) candidate in the forthcoming July 16 gubernatorial election in the state of Osun.
While announcing the results, The Chairman of the Osun Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primary election, Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, said Ademola Adeleke polled 1,887 votes to pick the ticket of the party for the governorship poll.
Presenting the PDP Certificate of Return to Adeleke, Ewhrudjakpo noted that 1,916 delegates were accredited, while 24 invalid votes were recorded.
Other aspirants polled the following votes: Dele Adeleke, 1; Dotun Babayemi, 0; Akin Ogunbiyi, 0; Fatai Akinbade, 0 and Sanya Omirin, 4.
