Governor Emeka Ihedioha of Imo State has constituted a Judicial Commission of Inquiry to probe contracts awarded by three ex-governors of the state.
The former governors are Achike Udenwa, Ikedi Ohakim and Rochas Okorocha.
A statement issued in Owerri, the Imo State capital on Monday by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Chibuike Onyeukwu, disclosed that the probe included contacts awarded from 2006 to 2019.
The chairman of the probe panel, according to the statement is Justice B.C Iheka, while a veteran journalist, Comfort Obi serves as the secretary.
The statement reads briefly “Governor of Imo State, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha CON, has constituted a Judicial Commission of Inquiry on contracts awarded in Imo State from June 2006 to May 2019.
“Members of the commission are as follows; Hon. Justice B.C Iheka – Chairman, Engr.Chris Ibeh – Member, Ifeyinwa Maureen Okafor – Member, Dr. Samuel Ifeanyi Onwuasoanya – Member, Barr Stanley Imo – Member, Mr.Paschal Uzokwu – Member, Barr. Aloy Ejimako – Member and Dame Comfort Obi – Secretary.”
