Bayern Munich have not given up hope of signing Leroy Sane, despite the Manchester City winger undergoing surgery following an ACL injury.
The Bundesliga champions signed Ivan Perisic on loan after learning Sane would be out until next year following his injury in the Community Shield on August 4.
But Bayern haven’t been put off by Sane’s setback, with Bild claiming they will either submit a reduced bid return for the 23-year-old before the German deadline on September 2 or revive their interest in January or next summer.
