President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday met behind closed doors with the Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Recall that the preferred candidate of Amosun, Adekunle Akinlade has defected from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Allied People’s Movement (APM) due to controversies that trailed the governorship primary elections.
Other loyalists of the Governor have also dumped the APC.
But Amosun has remained a member of the ruling party.
